The tea room is open from 12pm to 2pm, Monday through Saturday for a pot of tea and sip from fine china. Or get a 12 or 16 oz cup to go. Also available is our selection of loose leaf teas to take home. You can order online for the tea to be picked up in the tea room. Not all tea selections in the tea room are on the website. Afternoon teas are scheduled on the calendar. Reservations required in advance.

Events are posted on our social media pages and website.  We also send out a monthly newsletter that offers discounts and updates of what events and hours the tea room is open.

The tea room is also available for private events. Schedule a private afternoon tea (seats up to 10 guests), $50 per guest. Or rent the room and bring your own food, $100 per hour.

Mobile Tea service available. We bring the tea to your event and serve for up to 2 hours. $200.

My Necessitea is dedicated to educating people about why tea is so good and creating relationships between people and their tea.

My Necessitea provides loose leaf teas that have been customized over 2 decades. And while some teas can be found in other places, our signature flavors (Licorice Mint and London Fog) are our most popular.

As of 2022, our new tea room was opened.

Beyond tea service in the tea room, our teas are currently served at The BirdHouse in West Seattle.

My Necessitea is a returning fixture at the annual Northwest Tea Festival in the fall. You will find us immediately upon entering. You may even sample our tea while waiting in line.

In the past we have sold and served tea at West Seattle West Fest, West Seattle Night Market, Husky Deli, The Seattle Clothing Exchange, Fremont Sunday Market, various craft fairs and markets, and provided tea to many volunteer events for non-profit organizations.
